Honey's Birthday

Hey guys, I know it’s a bit late, but forgive me (plus, my internet was being a little bitch and timing out so I couldn’t upload )

Technically, Honey's Birthday is the 23rd of January (the original intended date for this comic), but whatever. It took forever to make, but here it is.

I really hate this new paint. I can’t remember what the old font I used to use is, and now this new font is way too big Plus I can’t zoom in as much as I used to be able to. And after all the stupid new changes, they *still* haven’t added the ability to free-rotate objects, which is what I really need. And Photoshop just turns things into a stupid pixely mess. Maybe I should try using Flash. I think I’ve got that on my computer too...

To be honest, this is my favourite comic so far. I wrote it ages ago, but I still love it. So fun. And it was great to draw something sweet for once, instead of just sarcasm and abuse. ^_^

But I totally fail at drawing wounds XD Ah well. Another contributing factor for why this is late is because it took an endless amount of tweaking to get some of the images. Like the afore mentioned rotation on PhotoShop. I had to that for Milo AND Honey. And then re-draw over the images to fix them, working pixel by pixel. The fact that I can’t zoom in as much as I’d like to anymore just makes it more difficult.

Add to that all the characters, all the new detailed backgrounds, and unusual poses, and we’ve got a comic that took...I don’t even know how to long to make. I spent all day yesterday doing the bulk of it, and probably a few hours here and there since last Thursday. So please forgive the delay, I hope it was worth it.

And so there shouldn’t be any delay for this Friday, I’ll get to work on the next one right away. I can see it being some-what simpler, thankfully.
